Today felt like a really long day and I just did not have the heart to join the others for dinner so I excused myself from the evening activities and headed back to the hotel. I also wanted to explore around the hotel since I have not had a chance yet. Ended up walking through the stores at the Stadelhofen train station and picked up some Lindt chocolates for work and for the daycare teachers as well as a pair of Espirit sneakers. Then I walked back to the hotel to drop off my stuff and put on my winter coat. Headed out and walked a little beyond the perimeter of the hotel despite the snow-rain weather and came across Globus Bellevue which was awesome - I got some takeout satay and Sri Lankan curry. It was just the fix I needed.
The housewares and department store side was already closed but lookit! Soooo pretty, I HAVE to make a trip here tomorrow before they close at 8pm.
