When I think back on the purchases I have made on etsy, the theme is clear, most of the items are for both of my girls. But the following picks for this week is truthfully more like 50% for them, and 50% for me. Be it a fun memory game or a customized keepsake or items made with some of my favorite fabric prints, the following items are some of my (and my girls') favorite etsy purchases.
(From Left to Right, Top to Bottom)
- Custom Printable Stationery for Siblings from Etsy Store olliegraphic
- Lei Blossoms Minky Blanket from Etsy Store elizagrace
I purchased this at a Holiday Shopping fair that I organized to benefit United Way, and Gianna (my 17-month-old) has been using it as her default crib blanket since I purchased it. It's been through several washes and is still holding up the minky softness so well.
- Circus Memory Game from Etsy Store icepurplepenguin
Naia (my 4-1/2-year-old) still plays with this all the time. Be it with Grandma, Daddy, or Mommy, it is a game that can be enjoyed across ages and pace. She was able to sew it with my choice of fabric and this is definitely one of those games that will get passed down to my girls' kids and hopefully so on.
- Amy Butler Lotus Fat Quarter Bundle of 4 from Etsy Store sewgoodfabric
This is just another way of me injecting my design preferences into my girls' rooms. I purchased these for Gianna's room and have them mounting onto canvases. I just saw the stretch frames from the IKEA 2010 catalog so I may use that the next time I come across fabric that is just so beautiful, it needs to be displayed. Now the quarter bundle is not available anymore but this seller has good prices on some of the most popular designer fabrics so it's definitely worthwhile to check it out.
When I received the custom-created PDF for my girls, I was just so tickled by how adorable they looked captured in Meg's signature style. Granted I have had little occasion to use all of the stationery printables included with the package (and there were plenty!) but the graphic will definitely be making it into a scrapbook page and thank you cards for the teachers when the girls move up their daycare classes.

thanks for the feature!
i love amy butler's lotus line! one of my favorite fabric lines ever! which of course means it will be discontinued soon. every fabric i love gets discontinued :-(
