After a few weeks of trying different things, I finally added the personalized stationery listings to my etsy store. I had to decide on 3 simple motifs and narrow down to provided only a few colors for options, just so I could get the line going, and get into the mode of personalizing and fulfilling orders for these.
I actually displayed a few sets at a Holiday Shopping event I organized for my company to benefit United Way, and where I was vending and I sold out, PLUS took some personalized orders to fulfill so they were definitely my best-sellers for the day. I am glad I pushed myself to get some ready in time for the event so I could get the first-hand response from live shoppers and find out what else they would like to see.
My favorite of the three is the "You are SUCH a ROCKSTAR" design. I have to admit that I personally say it all the time (over-doing it probably) when I am excited about an idea or when I am inspired by the positive contribution that someone else put into a project or a situation. But that aside, I just think about how nice it would be for someone to receive a handwritten note that tells them that they did good and that you appreciated it and took the time to tell them?
Now I just have to work on adding a "custom orders" reference sheet so shopper can "build" their own personalized card sets but I am keen to see if these will sell as well online. *crossing fingers*

WOW what a great post. Handwritten thank you's are so much better received. And YOU ARE A ROCKSTAR sweetie!

Hi Andrea! Thanks for the comment. There's just something special about a handwritten note especially in this day and age. :o)
