I ate alligator meat while in New Orleans. Did I mention that? No I don't think so. Actually I don’t think I even posted photos from that trip yet. Oops.
ANYWAAAY, it tasted like the dark meat portion of chicken. The awesome creole-style barbeque sauce totally made up for any reservations I might have had. Final verdict: I love seafood (is it considered seafood?) but gimme faux-croc (bags, shoes, etc) over real croc anyday.
