The last time we did anything with Gianna's room was almost 5 years ago when we moved Naia into her current room and re-did Gianna's room as a nursery. Since then, she's given up her baby crib and moved into a twin-sized bed, gotten a study desk and dressers, and has a closet nook that was hastily put together because Naia had one in her room.
And although she's still very much a pink-and-purple girl, I've been pointed out other colors that she might consider in her room and surprisingly the aqua/robin's egg blue palette has sat well with her.
So I have been in the process of curating ideas and palettes for her room on Pinterest,
and it's been fun! It's really helping me compare different bedding/rug/fabric/accessories together visually. Even in the case where the photos online are not exactly how I would like them, I can edit them and then upload them onto the board.
For example, we have a short expedit-like open-back shelving unit that I thought we could update with some fabric or paper backing so I digitally changed the colors and added it to the board.
Now I can see all the options on the design board and make a decision later! Love it!

Definitely a great post. Hats off to you! The information that you have provided is very helpful
